Dr. Housley is an angel sent to heal us from the inside; she seems to intuitively know what I need as soon as I walk in the door every time - I initially met her after thyroid surgery and looking for help with symptoms no other specialist in medicine could give me. This led to NET and now chiropractic. Who knew a sweet & gentle woman had such special gifts to help us improve our quality of life in so many ways. I personally have struggled with scoliosis since I was a small child, and have been in a few car accidents which have led to some other minor injuries that flare up from time to time. I’ve also been the victim of the snap crackle and pop doctors that think they are helping; however, they weren’t. Joan is a born healer! A true true healer that has the passion in her care for patients that shows and results speak for themselves! Her method of getting you back in alignment is painless and just simply makes sense. Depending on my activities I usually only need to see her once a month if I have been strenuous or very active and possibly pulled something I can get right in and within the same day have relief after her adjustments. I have referred a few clients that are friends and family that had strained or pulled something and went to see her and just praised their results and are regulars of hers when needed as well. I have been seeing Dr Joan for about a year first as just a chiropractic patient because I was quite honestly a little skeptical about the nutrition side of her practice. She patiently adjusted me and never pushed me into getting my blood work checked. But then my health declined a lot due to the stage of life I'm in (ie menopause). For the past 3 months, she has been leading me through leveling out my vitamin/mineral deficiencies as well as how to eat in such a way as to put my Hashi Moro (which she discovered before my medical Doc did) into remission. I am so thankful for her patience, knowledge and love for the Lord, I thoroughly enjoy seeing her every 2 weeks for my adjustment and more so for the wisdom and joy that she brings to me and my life! Joan has been a divinely instrumental gift in my emotional and physical healing journey for 4 years now. I was referred to her by two friends and since, I find myself speaking of her deep knowledge and spiritual loving emotional connection to my loved ones and piers often.
I began meeting with Joan for NET and chiropractic care through a separation and subsequent divorce a year later. In January of 2020 I was diagnosed with strong markers of an auto-immune disease and traditional treatment dictated a life-time panel of medications.
